Victor J. Salerno-President
Victor Salerno is a 38 year veteran of the race and sports book industry in the state of Nevada. Mr. Salerno was the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of American Wagering, Inc., until the company was sold to William Hill in July, 2012. American Wagering, Inc. operated over ninety sports book operations in Nevada, in addition to Computerized Bookmaking Systems, which provided a computerized wagering and accounting systems to the majority of casinos in Nevada. Upon the sale of American Wagering, Mr. Salerno became Chairman of the Board of William Hill US until February 2016.
Mr. Salerno is a legend in the race and sports book industry and is credited with initiating projects that grew Nevada sports wagering to its current success and popularity, including: first computerized book making systems (CBS), first sports bookmaking network hub operation in Nevada (Leroy’s), and recently expanded the sports wagering business with the launch of the very successful Leroy’s mobile sports wagering app. He also pioneered the development and use of self-service race & sports book kiosks.
On behalf of Nevada gaming industry trade associations, Mr. Salerno served as President of the Nevada Association of Race and Sports Operators, and as a member of the Nevada Pari-Mutuel Association’s Rates Committee.
Mr. Salerno was recently inducted into the American Gaming Associations exclusive "Gaming Hall of Fame."
Bob Kocienski-Chief Executive Officer
Bob Kocienski is a 38 year veteran in the gaming industry. He began his gaming career in New Jersey as a regulator in Atlantic City, NJ. Mr. Kocienski became the Vice President of Finance for Hilton Nevada Corporation and later moved to several CFO positions in Mirage Resorts, Inc., MGM/Mirage, Penn National, and Gateway Casino's Entertainment Limited.
Mr. Kocienski joined Mr. Salerno at American Wagering, Inc. in 2009 as Chief Operating Officer and engineered the sale of the company in 2012.
Terina Salerno—General Counsel
Terina Salerno is a 2001 graduate of the first class from University of Nevada-Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law. She has also earned a Master of Laws in taxation from Boston University. Ms. Salerno served as the General Counsel for American Wagering, Inc. for nearly nine years. She has an extensive knowledge of both corporate finance and national gaming law, particularly as it applies to sports wagering. In her capacity with USFantasy Sports, she is instrumental in our development efforts to expand the company into new gaming jurisdictions.
Robert Walker—Director of Product Development
Robert began his career in Las Vegas in the early 1980s as a sports journalist. His gaming career began in 1986 at Boyd Gaming’s Stardust Resort and Casino where he quickly rose to the position of Race & Sports Book Manager. Additional stops took him to The Orleans, The Mirage, MGM Grand and Resorts World Bimini as the Director of Race & Sports Book Operations. Robert is a true bookmaker with extraordinary skills in betting odds management and an in-depth knowledge of the customer betting behavior. In his capacity with USFantasy Sports, he helps design contests and develop the opening odds for each contest. He has created a number of exciting common pool betting contests offered by USFantasy Sports.
John Salerno--Director of Operations
John Salerno has enjoyed a twenty-year career working in all areas of the race and sports book industry. He served as an analyst and bookmaker for American Wagering, eventually being promoted to a corporate board position. He also served as the Customer Service Director and Compliance Officer for William Hill US. In his current capacity, John oversees regulatory compliance with the Nevada Gaming Control Board and Business Development for USFantasy Sports.
Patrick Tarnay—General Manager
With a deep background of over twenty years in the sports data and wagering technologies industry, Patrick Tarnay brings a wealth of experience to USFantasy Sports. In his capacity as General Manager, he manages the complex daily operations of the pari-mutuel systems, technical services and customer support for USFantasy Sports. Patrick has worked for such industry giants such as the Daily Racing Form Inc., STATS: Sports Data and also enjoyed many years acting as Vice President of Operations for Las Vegas Dissemination Company (LVDC), the exclusive pari-mutuel wagering and race track simulcasting company in Nevada.
Donna Atwood has enjoyed a distinguished gaming career in a myriad of finance positions over the past thirty years at several casinos which have included stops in Maryland, Louisiana, and New Mexico. She has worked for Wynn Las Vegas, MGM Mirage Resorts and Eldorado Resorts. At USFantasy Sports, Donna is responsible for human resources, payroll, financial analysis and all financial controller functions.
Tom Willer—Marketing Director
Tom Willer has worked for several casino companies from Caesars Palace Las Vegas Hotel & Casino to Tropicana Casino & Resort Atlantic City. In his various positions, he has been responsible for advertising, public relations, market research, entertainment and sports event management. At USFantasy Sports, Tom oversees all marketing efforts and enjoys extensive customer contact.
Farrell Drozd—Lead Product Developer
Farrell Drozd has over thirty years of experience in sports book and fantasy sports operations. He enjoys the most extensive knowledge of sports and athletes of anyone at USFantasy Sports. Drozd is the primary designer of the contest fields of teams or athletes offered in our contests. He is continuously involved in enhancing the competitive fields of the contests and developing new common pool contests.
Cavin Kishi—Product Developer
Cavin Kishi has nearly twenty years of experience in Race & Sports Book Management at both the Mirage Hotel and Casino and also the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino. He has worked in all positions from ticket writer to shift supervisor and ultimately as Race & Sports Manager. Cavin is responsible for all phases of contest management which includes the development of competitive contest fields and publishing our final results.
Crystal Martinez—Customer Service Representative
Crystal Martinez has worked professionally in several different positions including food service and in customer service. As the Customer Service Representative, Crystal maintains relationships with all of the Nevada casino Race & Sports book staffs and provides updates on our contests and solves problems. She is in constant motion, traveling to at least eight casinos per day.
